Mighty Middleton Scholarship

The “Mighty Middleton” Scholarship was established in 2018 to raise money to support Middleton-Cross-Plains Area School District graduates who intend to devote their careers to helping others in the health care and related professions.

This scholarship was inspired by Theresa and Don Roepsch, whose granddaughters attend District schools. Theresa and Don love their granddaughters and have always encouraged them to help others.  On October 6, 2018, Theresa passed away after a battle with cancer.  Here is a link to her obituary.

The scholarship award committee will look for students who exhibit leadership, character, academic success and dedication to helping others. All graduating seniors are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

You can donate to the fund using any credit card by using this link.  You can also mail a check to the MCPASD Education Foundation, c/o Perry Hibner, 7106 South Ave., Middleton, WI 53562. Please address the check to MCPASD Education Foundation, but also indicate that your contribution is intended for the Mighty Middleton Scholarship Fund.

The scholarship fund is administered by the Middleton Cross-Plains Area School District Education, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible, depending on your method of tax filing.

I am so proud of my Mom and Dad for establishing this scholarship. I am sad to inform that this past Saturday, October 6, my mom peacefully passed away after a heroic battle with cancer. I am happy to know she is now at peace.

  4. A woman who personified unconditional love was taken too soon from us this week. I am so thankful to have had you in my life, always waiting with a warm smile and a big hug. Teaching everyone around you to be a better person and to always look on the bright side… unless it was during a game of cards.

I know we have another angel looking out for us today. Until we meet again, have a game of 6 handed waiting for us grandma.

  5. I hope a Mighty Middleton uses this scholarship to join in the fight against pancreatic cancer. A wonderful wife, sister, mother and grandmother was lost too early to this awful disease.
