With the MCPASD referendum passing on Nov. 6, the Education Foundation is excited to build on the strong momentum of support  in the district and community!

The referendum enables the district to increase capacity and upgrade facilities, giving all schools the physical space to support innovative learning. However, there’s much more work to be done.

To support the district’s efforts to improve student achievement across all demographic groups, our Education Foundation is focusing on equitable practices – the heart of an inclusive, innovative and inspiring learning community.

Here’s what your generous support helped us achieve last year, and why we’re asking for your continued support.

2017-18 Accomplishments

Milestones included:

  • Nearly $350,000 in assets under management, with $50,097 added this year
  • Nearly $20,000 in grants awarded to 12 teachers and staff
  • $2,750 awarded in scholarships to 5 graduating seniors
  • Nearly $10,000 raised for initiatives such as the Weekend Food Program that provided meals for more than 160 students in need at all six district elementary schools

2018-19 Goals

With your continued support, the Education Foundation can expand innovation grants to teachers and staff, further grow the our endowment and fund initiatives including:
