Anne Bauer is a member of the Middleton Cross Plains Area School District Board of Education. She is a former teacher, and has a Master’s Degree in Education.
Shawna Bertalot is an insurance and risk consultant with Wisconsin Medical Society Insurance and Financial Services. She and her husband Emil live in the Town of Springfield. Their two children attend MCPASD schools.
Purna Byraiah is a Project Manager with Intuit, Inc. She and her husband Erwan live in the district and both of their children attend MCPASD schools.
Christopher Denney is a Senior Program and Policy Analyst at Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. Chris has also worked as a middle school social studies teacher, and has earned Master’s degrees in Teaching and Public Administration.
Zach Galin is president of Galin Education, a tutoring and college admissions counseling organization in Middleton. He started his career in education as a science teacher in a grade 6-12 school in New York City and as a program director at a residential summer camp in Pennsylvania. Zach met his wife (a Middleton High School graduate) while they were studying at Northwestern University and was easily convinced to settle in Middleton. He is a board member of the Jewish Federation of Madison and is the chair of Camp Shalom in Verona.
Janet Hartung Renfert, CPA is the managing shareholder at Porter & Sack, CPAs. She works with a broad range of closely held and growing businesses to assist with tax planning, financial decisions, business succession and business improvement strategies.
Tom Kobinsky (Secretary) retired from a corporate career in technical writing and public relations and currently works for the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District in facilities management. He and his wife Darcy live in the Town of Cross Plains where they raised three children, all graduates of Middleton High School and the UW System.
George Mavroulis is the Superintendent for the Middleton-Cross Plains Area Schools. He has been with the district since 1992, also serving as an elementary principal and as Deputy Superintendent. George is a resident of Middleton with his wife Lisa. Both of his children graduated from Middleton High School and attend UW-Madison.
Stephanie Mueller, MBA (Treasurer) owns MoneyRight, LLC, a bookkeeping and financial consulting firm. She lives in Middleton with her husband Brad, college student Kylie and high-schoolers Will and Chase.
Bill Reis is a retired school superintendent from the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District. During his 40 year career as a school administrator in Janesville, Delavan and Middleton-Cross Plains, Bill served on the Board of Directors for various groups including Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, United Way and UW Alumni. Bill and his wife Kay live in Middleton and have three adult children and five grandchildren.
Jeff Roespch has worked at Johnson Controls since 2002 in business development. Prior to working at Johnson Controls, Jeff worked at The University of Iowa where he received his BA in psychology, MA in education and MBA. He and his wife Tiffany have three daughters attending Sauk Trail and Kromrey.
Rick Sanders (Vice-Chair) is a retired sales account executive, with past experience encompassing retail, consumer products and commercial printing sales and new business development. He served as a Cross Plains village board trustee from 2003-2007, and currently resides in the Misty Valley neighborhood in Middleton. His son is a 2008 Middleton High School graduate.
Stacy Seiden recently moved to Middleton from the Chicago area, where she served as the Manager of Foundation & Government Giving for Kohl Children’s Museum. Prior to that, Stacy worked for nine years in organized medicine, including at the American College of Chest Physicians and American Medical Association. She earned a Certificate of Nonprofit Board Education from BoardSource and a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Nonprofit Management from Northwestern University. Stacy holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Arts in political science and English literature from Washington University. She and her husband have one child in the MCPASD.
Courtney Ward-Reichard (Chair) is an attorney with the law firm of Nilan Johnson Lewis, headquartered in Minneapolis, with a concentration in labor and employment litigation. She lives in Middleton with her husband Kevin and two daughters, who attend Kromrey Middle School.
